Relocation Assistance

The Relocation Assistance Program assists military service members and their families make a smooth move to and from Camp Lejeune.

The Relocation Assistance Program offers numerous items and services at no charge. Contact one of our locations today at Russell Marine & Family Services Center, Bldg. 40 (910-449-9704) or Reception Center, Bldg. 60 (910-451-1055 or 910-451-1056) for dates, times and information on specific services.

Welcome Aboard Packages – New here at Camp LeJeune?  Stop by and pick up a Welcome Aboard package from us!  We can also provide information, handouts and videos on other military installations including the information found at: www.Militaryhomefront.dod.mil  and www.militaryonesource.com
Loan Locker Program – Our loan locker is designed to provide the basic essentials for service members waiting on delivery of their household goods.  Our loan locker is a FREE service for 30 days!  We offer baby items such as strollers, high chairs, portable cribs.  The kitchen items include: dishes, pots/pans, utensils, small appliances, coffee makers, toasters, and irons.  We also have other items to offer such as: laundry baskets, ironing boards, sweepers, etc.

Moving Overseas Workshop – The workshop provides an informative overview of the process and procedures involved in making a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) transfer to an overseas location such as Okinawa, Hawaii, Japan or Europe.  Information is provided on cultural aspects, shipment/storage of personal property and POV, passport requirements, travel and pay entitlements, COLA, overseas screening, and housing.

Making the Right Move Workshop - This workshop provides information for personnel making a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) within the United States (CONUS).  Information is provided on travel and pay entitlements, shipping personal property, finding appropriate housing, and instructions on the proper processes and procedures for a military member to follow in order to receive their full benefits.

ABC's of Buying and Selling A Home – This popular workshop provides consumer education on buying and selling a home.  Come and learn about mortgages, interest rates, qualifying procedures, VA information and more!  We also have a reference library with books giving the pros and cons on buying and selling that you can borrow.

Sponsorship Training - A one and a half hour session designed to train military sponsorship coordinators from all commands throughout Camp Lejeune. The training consists of the definition/role of a sponsor, and information on all the great resources available to a sponsor.
Youth/Teen Sponsorship Program - "Kids in Touch with Kids," a program for school age children (ages 6-18). Program provides a relocating youth or teen the access to a peer at the new duty station who will answer the concerns about the new area.
